    Adobe Acrobatと比べてPDFelementは機能も多く、価格も良心的で、インターフェースも美しいですが、ファイルを開くのが遅いです。将来出るPDFelement 7の時オールドユーザーがバージョンアップの時に優待があってくれるかどうかは分かりません。

    OCR機能は満点! フォーマット変換は驚くレベルです。このソフトはpdf expertよりかなり強力ですが、pdf expertほど速さと便利さはありません。

    OCR機能はとても実用的です。監査報告書のスキャンデータから数字を抜き出す時にとても手間が省けます。インターフェースも簡潔で気持ちよく、すこしMac OSを使っている感じです。やや残念なことは、ファイルを開くまでの時間が少し長く、たまにAdobe Acrobatほど速くないことです。あと透かしが入っているとOCR機能が効かなくなります。時々透かしがない文字でも文字化けしてしまします。アップデート時にアルゴリズムが改善してほしいです。
